Peter Forsberg

Peter Forsberg is the greatest hockey player in the world. He plays for the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League. Peter was born July 20th, 1973 in Ornskoldsvik, Sweden. He has been playing hockey all his life, along with soccer. He grew up childhood friends with the Vancouver Canucks captain, Markus Naslund. Peter is a centerman, shoots left, he is 6 feet tall and 205 pounds. He was drafted into the NHL by the Philadelphia Flyers in 1991 #6 overall. He got traded to the Quebec Nordiques before the 1991 season for Eric Lindros, because Lindros refused to play for the Nordiques. The Nordiques then moves to Colorado, changing their name to the Avalanche. Peter was the assistant captain to Joe Sakic. He totalled many points in few games due to injuries, such as 55 points in 39 games, his best season was when he recorded 116 points in the full 82 games, but in his second Sophmore year in the NHL. Before being drafted, Peter played for Modo Hockey Ornskoldsvik in the Swedish Elite league. He just recovered from an ankle surgery.
Peter Forsberg is my favorite hockey player and always has been, he is #21, and I always try to pick the closest number to 21 that I can get on my hockey teams. He is also a very nice person judging by his press conferences and interviews, I think he is the greatest hockey player ever and he is god, he has also always played for Sweden in the Olympics and World Cups. Whenever he is not hurt his team wins because of him.
