To Gui or not to Gui, that is the question

Guillaume Latendresse, a 19 year old Quebecer who attempted to make the cut for the Montreal Canadians last year, and nearly did as he was last cut, this preseason, Guillaume was making a huge name for himself in montreal as fans loved him constantly chanting "Gui! Gui! Gui!", he was playing amazing, and just like last year was impressing imensly, but also proving himself in exhibition games. Well the announcement was made Friday the 29th of September morning, Guy Carbonneau and the Habs, have decided, to Gui. Guillaume Latendresse will sign his contract with the Montreal Canadiens at 10 oclock this morning. The rest of the roster is expected to follow, but Latendresse making the team also marks Kostitsyn's end with the Habs, at least for now.

I think the decision by Carbonneau to keep Latendresse was a great one. When given the motivation and correct discipline, Latendresse ressembles very much the type of player Todd Bertuzzi was before the Moore sucker punch. I really wish Gainey wasn't such a bad GM, and did more this season then give Begin a raise, lose our 6th leading scorer, Jan Bulis, who may I remind you had that 4 goal game last season showing a great deal of potential to be amazing. Along with that, only signing our futur star Chris Higgins for one year, leaving risk of him wanting to leave after this season. If we would get rid of useless players like Bonk, Begin, Sundstrom, Aaron Downey and Garth Murray, we could bring in young talent with the likes of Kostitsyn (both of them), Chipchura, and maybe even make a deal if we were to trade them all. Hopefully Latendresse and Samsonov will be amazing this year.
