Forsberg and Flyers fly past the Rangers

Peter Forsberg scored a pretty goal and tallied 2 assists as the Philadelphia Flyers beat the Rangers 4-2. Forsberg now has 2 goals and 3 assists, the first game his team was shutout, so on paper it is in 3 games, but he really got the 5 points in 2 games. Forsbergs lineman Simon Gagne scored his 3 goals of the season, after getting an amazing pass from Forsberg on the powerplay. Niittymaki saved 25 of 27 shots. Forsberg got 3 shots on goal and 4 penalty minutes.

I think the Philadelphia Flyers are an amazing team. Their starting line between Knuble-Forsberg-Gagne has been playing amazing together and their goaleis Esche and Niittymakki have been playing good too. Peter Forsberg is the most amazing player in the world, so I think him getting 3 points in a game is a bad game for him. With their goaltending and their starting line, and young players like Jeff Carter and Mike Richards and RJ Umberger, if they all have great seaons the Flyers could win the Stanley Cup.
