Souray is the man

I went to the hockey game saturday, therefore I am my source.

After 15 minutes of penalty trouble and the canadians sleeping and hanging aebischer out to drive, marek svatos pulled a nice move to get around a canadiens defecenman and passing it to sakic with a wide open net for a goal. 26 seconds later sakic made a pass to the front of the net that craig rivet kicked right to andrew brunette with a wide open net for another goal. 50 seconds later paul stastny scored his first nhl goal. after playing with flat feet and no motivation for 16 minutes the canadians were in depserate need for someone to step up. On the powerplay, a minute after colorado 3rd goal, off a feed from markov, souray blasted a shot past jose the-open-dore. Finally playing with some motivation, on the powerplay, identical to the first goal, off a feed from markov, souray took a laser from the point past theodore. souray also got 2 assists, totalling 2 goals and 2 assists. the score was 3-2 when tyler arnason scored for the avs to make it 4-2. while fans and the players may have been put down, kovalev and samsonov were not as kovalev fed samsonov an amazing pass for an amazing goal and they made the score 4-3. This sparked momentum for the canadiens as 25 seconds into the third period on the powerplay souray passed it to koivu next to the post, and koivu made a nice cross crease pass to ryder and he scored. Craig Rivet stepepd out of the penality box at 5:30 and got a breakaway pass from koivu and scored and jumped up and down...its good to see rivet can contribute somehow...then at 10:55 andrew brunette scored again to tie it at 5. again on the powerplay off a nice play by markov, higgins tucked in the goal. a minute later brisebois caughed up the puck to samsonov msaking a beautiful pass to kovalev in the slot...i dont think its necessary to say what happenned after kovalev got the puck in the slot. after that to top it off at 8-5 johnson took a slapshot from the slot while falling and scored.

This game was probably the most amazing hockey game ever. Everyone was booing and taunting theodore, and at the end I kind of felt bad for him, but I dont care anymore. They were booing brisebois too, but I didnt feel bad for him. I think kovalev is amazing but carbonneau needs to somehow get a better centerman with him and samsonov, plekanec doesnt really do anything. Markov is also amazing, he makes so many nice plays. Higgins and ryder and koivu are an amazing line. Aebischer made so many nice saves. Souray is the man...that's all, souray is so good and if we ever trade him the GM should be immediatly fired. He could be the best defenceman in the league if he would work a lot more on his 1 on 1 coverage, he needs to know how to not get the crap deked out of him, once he does that he can definitly be one of the best defecenman in the league. Hehas the best slap shot in the world. Ryder has the best accurary was his shot too. Kovalev makes so many nice moves its crazy. I can't wait for tonights game against Buffalo I hope we win so badly.
